Almost all colon cleansing scams try to reel you in with allegedly “free” trial offers. More than a handful have already reported being ripped off by websites and companies that ask them to pay for just the mailing and shipping, only to realize that there have been hundreds of dollars charged to the customers' accounts.
This news on Dazzle White Pro sounds like the scammers have learned a thing or two from shady colon cleansing websites and companies. Like in any other online scam, customers were asked to shoulder the $1.95 cost of mailing and shipping and were promised that their trial was 'obligation free'.
Dazzle White Pro is owned by Just Think Media which is headed by Jesse Wilms. The Canadian entrepreneur has received countless of lawsuits, most notably from Dr. Mehmet Oz and Oprah. The two celebrities sued Wilms' company last year for using them and their images to endorse his colon cleansing products. Along with Just Think Media, Dr. Oz is suing around 40 other companies for the same thing. According to the fake web ads, the celebrity doctor was shown endorsing acai berry colon cleansers.
Remember, every time you even consider signing up for a free trial of anything, read the terms and agreements, even if it's long. The devil is in the details, as they say, and it couldn't be further from the truth in this case. Read the fine print so you don't get surprised by the free trial's cost and charges.
