It's not a secret that tea has a lot of health benefits. It's also not a secret that tea has elements that help you detoxify. So, with these in mind, is it enough to drink just normal green tea for a healthy detox? After all, tea is as green, healthy, and natural as you can get when it comes to detoxing.
While the benefits of tea may not be questioned, the fact that you use regular or green tea for detoxing may be subjected to a lot of scrutiny an questions. First, a regular kind of tea does have cleansing and detoxing elements but it's not enough as a stand-alone kind of cleansing supplement. Second, the herbs and ingredients used for your morning tea are not specialized herbs that really concentrate on working towards a cleaner system. Teas contain catechin, a natural anti-oxidant. While this is healthy, it's not enough to cleanse your system.
Green tea as an everyday cleansing agent is okay but green tea detox is not a detox regimen in itself. If you do want a healthy green tea detox diet, there are a lot of special detoxing and cleansing teas that you could purchase from companies and manufacturers that specialize in these kinds of tea. Detox teas usually include herbs that function not only as anti-oxidants but as removers of heavy metal found in one's system.
That yellow patterned sweater you found is adorable, as is Longoria's top. I would love it -- but how do I pick my colors? Has anyone found the perfect tool?
