Process of getting a colonoscopy

Up until a few months ago, I would have never even imagined that getting a colonoscopy was for me.

the obvious reasoning, I had no intention of having this procedure done, for no gain and be put into a very uncomfortable position. However, after having some digestion issues, I decided to give this a try. I went in and got in appointment, and could not stop thinking about how this appointment was going to turn out. I kept it a secret from my friends and family, because I did not think I could even tell them I was getting this procedure done.

The big day finally came, and I went in totally expecting of what was going to happen. They led me into a room and put me into a strange position, and then proceeded to do their business. Now, to be totally honest, the sensation that you are put through while this process is taking place is actually an incredibly amazing sensation. It felt incredible. I could not believe that it was already over, but it was and I was sent home just like that. My body felt brand new and totally relieved of all stress. I lost 7 pounds, and lost a large part of my gut. I went in not knowing what to think. But after the entire procedure, I saw that this is a great procedure with many benefits.
