I watched my mother’s health deteriorate because of ulcerative colitis in her colon, so I thought maybe a laxative or “colon cleanser” to try and keep me regular would be a good idea. I’ve now tried several laxatives, all of which have been uncomfortable and not too pleasant to deal with. I tried the colon cleanser “Oxy-Powder” in 2007 three times, each time hoping I would get better results. To my dismay, I did not experience any such results as the website (Oxypowder.com) claimed. I ate the diet it recommended, drank tons of water, and to be honest, I didn’t really see any difference in Oxy-Powder than the other laxatives I bought at the drug store. I doubt anything was really in the powder: I ate fiber-filled foods and drank lots of water, and I bet that was what actual made me use the bathroom. This product was nothing special, and at over $40 a bottle, it was a good waste of money for me. I can’t believe I was so naive to try it and believe it would work.
