So back to the colon cleansing test.

We have read reviews that its a ton of pills that you have to take. 4 pills / 3x a day. These are not just little pills. They are pills that would go up a horse's you know what.

When i was about to take them. I noticed that they were in a think plastic coating that open up. So i thought that it might be best to not eat the plastic. So i emptied the smelly green powder out that filled the bottom of a glass. I added water but it only made it a paste glue green guck. Which in no way does it make it any easier to take down the colon cleansing ingrediants.

So i was back to takin these pills. I just downed all 4 of them to start the process. I feel a big bealch coming on. Ok I just ripped one. I'm sure i'll have more to rip.....down below.

Let me tell you, there is nothing happy OR chipper about being on the toilet with explosive diarrhea for two hours straight, first thing in the morning. I tried Bowtrol as it was recommended by a friend to try a colon cleansing product. It was by far the worst product I have ever tried. Not only did it make me physically ill to use, I lost 6 pounds while trying this product.

Losing 6 pounds of water weight in such a short time was extremely unhealthy for me. The physical symptoms included stomach cramping, nausea, and terrible diarrhea which lasted for days. Who wants to feel nauseous and have diarrhea all day?

I understand that the product is supposed to rid my body of toxins, but Bowtrol assures that the product is gentle. This was not my experience. I absolutely will never use this product again, nor would I ever recommend it to another person. I Hate Bowtrol!!!

Last summer I was feeling very sick and constipated, so I went to the doctor and he prescribed a colon cleanser.

I went to the pharmacy and decided to purchase Bowtrol hopping it would ease my pain and relive my constipation. After only two uses I was no longer constipated, but the Bowtrol had induced a severe case of diarrhea and I was constantly on the toilet. I figured that in a day or two my condition would clear up, but even after a week I constantly had to use the bathroom. I tried the Dual Action Cleanse last year. I found the informercial to be intriguing, and that is what prompted me to purchase the product. It is sold in several internet markets besides the one the manufacturer was touting, so I did some research and found one that sold it for around $20 less than the retail price. I was surprised at how much of it I had to take. The pills are huge, and the outer coating tastes horrible. It took several days for it to start working, and what a disappointment. Granted, the pills did make things move more smoothly, but I felt absolutely none of the health benefits the informercial described. I did not experience any 'overnight weight loss', nor did I feel any differently than I had prior to taking the product.

The informercial claimed that the Dual Action Cleanse cleaned not only the colon, but the liver, kidneys, blood, etc. The man speaking also stated that John Wayne had over twenty pounds of undigested fecal matter in his intestines when he died. Does anyone really need to know this? He said that if Mr. Wayne's colon had been clear, he might have lived longer. John Wayne died from lung cancer. Plenty of cancer victims had no trouble with their colons, so I don't feel this was a good selling point for the product. I've seen a list of the herbs they used in making it, but further research of the herbs did not verify their claims. A couple of them are even poisonous in larger amounts!

I think one is better off sticking to a high fiber/low fat diet with lots of fruit and vegetables, which is what doctors have been telling us for decades.
