The Master Cleanse detox diet Review. Aka Lemonade Diet Review

After reading excellent and glowing reviews all over the internet I decided to try out the Master Cleanse looking for colon health. The trouble began at the start of my digestive tract in my stomach, for my "healthy" effort I was rewarded with heartburn and stomach pain. I spent money on what consisted of lemon aid, molasses and cayenne pepper. As you might imagine my colon and bowels did not enjoy the combination and I spent most of my time in the bathroom hoping it would pass without me damaging my colon or myself. Not to mention that at no time did I feel any effects of a so-called colon cleanse.

My digestive tract was irritated, which I don't believe is conducive to a happy healthy colon at all. Also, (please pardon me being a little graphic) but I don't see just how having diarrhea can lead to or even promote a healthy colon. The next time I decide I want to have a cleaner healthier colon I will do as my Grandma always told me, eat some prunes, have a fiber muffin and let nature take her course. Nature trumps over hyped "cleanses" any time in my book.
